Job History / Details:

Summary

Dependable, hard-working, and a perfectionist Commercial/Light Industrial Electrician with more than 10 years in the trade.

Highlights

I'm extremely skilled in the art of bending and routing conduit, applying precision and perfectionism to my work.I personally love to see my finished product rise above the rest and for that reason I hold my work to an extremely high standard.

I excel in wiring anything from simple power and lighting circuits to complex motor and refrigeration controls. Controls were my favorite and highest scoring subject in trade school. I get a certain satisfaction out of designing control sequences and making them work.

Accomplishments

I take on everything thrown at me including the impossible sometimes. Along the way through my career thus far I've accomplished certain tasks that i believe to be quality learning experiences, but none too challenging yet. Some of these experiences include teaching helpers, completing entire sections of a job-site by myself, running a 6 man crew, and being a lead-man on a couple of jobs that were less than desirable. I'm ready for someone to challenge me and I will accomplish those challenges with ease.

Experience

January 2008 to Current

TAG Electric Houston, TX

Journeyman Electrician

During my current run of employment with TAG I have added to my duties some light industrial work as well as lead-man and controls veteran. My current skills and specialties are everything that needs to take place on a new construction time-line from underground to trim-out and everything in-between including lots of trouble-shooting.

November 2004 to January 2008

Inland Electric Stafford, TX

Apprentice Electrician

In my time with Inland I gained much more responsibility and experience including such duties as: run pipe, pull wire, underground, rough-in, install panels, terminate panels, lighting install, lighting circuitry...etc

October 2002 to November 2004

Correct Electric Houston, TX

Apprentice Electrician

Mostly underground work, spotting for the back-hoe operator, digging, running pvc, running emt, learning to bend conduit, pulling wire, roughing in walls, assisting journeyman.

Education

2006 IEC Houston, TX

trade/vocational diploma Electrical

IEC is a great school for apprentices to learn how electricity works and how to manipulate it safely and up to code. This trade school makes electricians into unofficial electrical engineers. The National Electric Code becomes second nature to these graduates and that is vital for any electrician.

2002 Klein Oak High School Spring, TX

High School Diploma

Excellent school district and award winning school
