Summary and Objective:

Although much of my recent work experience has been with physical systems (Computers, software, network

management, office physical plant infrastructure), my earlier experience in technical classroom instruction,

sales and hospital administration, demonstrates competence in the interpersonal areas as well. My B.S.

Degree in Psychology and graduate work in Social Psychology provides an excellent grounding in the

theoretical and practical understanding of social relationships, customer service and motivational coaching.

As the father of two special needs children, now functioning adults, I have a personal understanding of the

support structures necessary to assist persons with disabilities in achieving their maximum potential. At age

69, I look forward to each day as a new adventure and constantly look for ways of encouraging others in

creating joy in everyday activities. I am seeking a role that would respond to this desire to assist others in

enhancing their quality of daily life.

Perhaps the greatest strength I bring to an organization is a solution-focused problem solving skill that

enables the resolution of issues impeding progress. My solutions begin with optimizing the use of

existing resources then adding additional resources. I enjoy learning new ideas, concepts, skills, and

strategies and seem to have a way of integrating those to accomplish individual, group and/or corporate

goals. My greatest pleasure is enabling someone or a group to accomplish a task or goal that they

believed to be not possible.

General strengths that I bring to an organization are reliability, strong work ethic, a commitment to

excellence in task performance, excellent communication skills both verbal and written, an optimistic

and pleasant, easy-going presence, and good health evidenced by no sick days in the last three years.
