Systems for Engineering Design and for Agricultural Planning using an

requirements and managing the daily activities of the project, as well as

My research focus is on integrated knowledge based systems
for advanced problem solving, as well as on the use of Intelligent Agents technology
to enhance the performance of knowledge based systems. Basic research in these
topics is being applied to application areas including agricultural management,
traffic control, and office management. I am also interested in aspects of
human-computer interaction especially as they pertain to agent-based systems.Funded Research:

Interfaith Group. Through this group, I co-organized several events to foster
inter-religious understanding in the Fargo Moorhead area.
September 2001 now: I regularly conduct seminars, and
participate in community forums explaining the religion of Islam. I
participated in several different events including seminars at several local
and regional college campuses, various community and church groups in
Fargo/Moorhead, and other communities in North Dakota and Minnesota, as well as
several radio forums.
