Qualification M.F.A. in Film/Television production, terminal degree in Film/Television

production from one of the reputed film schools in USA with 3.5 GPA.

Summary/Profile

Eligible to teach Film/Television production at graduate/Masters level in

USA and outside. Wrote a full feature length screenplay Murky Waters

as m y thesis project apart from producing/directing both documentaries

and narrative short films during my three years of M.F.A. Almost worked

on all the crew positions from Grip to Director of Photography/Producer on

Since 1994, have Produced and directed over 150 television

programs- Documentaries, Talk Shows, Narratives films and PSAs.

Edited and worked as director of photography and assisted in similar

number of television programs for self or other producers and directors.

Taught Television production as guest faculty at Media Education Research

Center, University of Kashmir, Mass Communication and Multimedia

Production, Degree College Baramullah and G.B pant Agricultural university

India.

Regularly have been conducting television/film workshops for postgraduate

students as a traniner.

Wide-ranging knowledge of Film and Television production from Inception to

Completion. Proficient and worked on both HD and Film cameras currently

used in Film schools and in the industry and post production softwares Final

cut pro, Protools, DPS Velocity, Online Express and other integrated soft-

wares.

2008 2010

video equipment Checking out and checking in of film/video equipment to faculty

and students.

aspects related to direction, production and editing of educational films. The job also involves

development of multimedia on various topics in consultation with subject experts.

Besides, I have shot/edited and assisted in over 100 films for different

television companies, written and directed plays for theatre and done many

musical shows. The above-mentioned films have also been edited by myself

and around half shot by me.
