WORK EXPERIENCE

Research Associate

Tennessee Technological University, Cookeville TN Developed LabView based device control for Rohde & Schwarz- Spectrum Analyzer FSEM 20. The data was captured via GPIB interface into LabView. The acquired data was used in developing an Advanced Cognitive Radio Algorithm.Developed LabView based device control for Agilent N5230A PNA-L Network Analyzer so that data files (CITI format) can be saved automatically on PNA s hard drive via GPIB interface. This was done to see how frequently channel characteristics change when a target is moving inside a metal confined environment.Performed spectrum sensing for FCC s radio spectrum in the local area to see white spaces in the spectrum, using Rohde & Schwarz- Spectrum Analyzer. The acquired data was reconstructed using Gaussian, Haar, Morlet and Daubechies Wavelet approaches in MatLab.Performed measurement on channel characteristics such as Channel Transfer Function, Channel Impulse Response, Channel Energy, Spatial Focusing and Channel Reciprocity for UWB Radio frequencies in open office environment and metal confined environment using Agilent N5230A PNA-L Network Analyze & Tektronix CSA8000B Communication Signal Analyzer. The recorded data files were processed using MatLab and Channel Impulse Response was used for target sensing in a metal confined environment
