Noun: Activity involving mental or physical effort done in order to achieve a purpose or result. Customer Service Representative

1994-1999

A long time ago I worked at the phone company back when it was called US West. My primary job was working with small business clients training them on their new phone services that required customer service and problem-solving skills. The discipline I gained in regards to work ethics have served me well through my work experience. Outreach Coordinator

Southwest Neighborhoods Inc.

I worked closely with the Communications Team to create an outreach plan for the coalition. I also worked directly with the neighborhoods to develop communication strategies, including websites, newsletters and flyers. I made recommendations for new strategies that hadn't been traditionally used in the neighborhood system. education Northern Arizona University

I designed a combination informational brochure and annual report. I cleaned up their website and made formal suggestions for a complete redesign. I organized their database and created a plan with templates for everyone to use.

I created a new t-shirt, posters, reformatted the class schedule and materials for outreach. I developed an outreach packet for summer festivals that included give-aways, information flyers, talking points, visual displays and plan to engage the public. Sometimes I make videos. :) Pop culture, current events, arts, gaming, cooking, quilting, design, animals, color, volunteering, reading big books and graphic novels. interests 503-***-****

******@*******.*** These programs are powerful and complex, I would not profess a knowledge of expertise because I am constantly learning new tricks and techniques and new ways of approaching design. I have read books on these programs and refer to them still. I have taken classes through U of O and PCC and continue learning using on-line tutorials. I would say I am comfortable around design programs and while easily impressed, rarely easily intimidated.

Hey, I just met you, and this is crazy, but here's my number, so call me, maybe? hi. I am Ruthann And this is my prezume. Expertise

Experience Level: 10 years

Photoshop / Illustrator / InDesign

Community Organizer / Event Planner

Experience Level: 5 years

For several years I organized the neighborhood's largest event, the Woodstock Neighborhood Picnic. Leading a committee of five to seven volunteers we organized bands, entertainment, food vendors, games and booths. In it's first year we drew over two thousand attendees.

I also organized the first Halloween parties for the neighborhood at the Woodstock Community Center. The association had worked hard to save the center from closure and it was vital to show the community the value of the center. Working with the local businesses, we created a trick or treat along the boulevard ending with the party at the community center.

I took the experience from working with my neighborhood and applied it to my work at district coalition level. I worked with seven neighborhoods as their liaison, helping with bylaws, meeting rules and regulations and land use issues. I was available to all 20 neighborhoods to assist with their events and I developed a guide to creating successful events.
