Repairs, replaces and performs operational and preventive checks and alignments on aircraft flight controls, stabilization systems, avionics and controlled cryptographic equipment.

Prepares Conventional Ordnance Deficiency Reports, Explosive Mishap Reports, Technical Publication Deficiency Reports, Missile Fire Reports, Product Quality Deficiency Reports, Missing Lost Stolen/Recovered Ammunition Reports, and Engineering Investigation Requests, when appropriate.

Establishes, monitors, and improves maintenance and inspection programs and procedures that assure company operated aircraft will be maintained in safe, efficient and economical manner.

Reviews current policies and improvise plans to improve upon the existing quality standards.

Gathers data and looks for trends and patterns to enhance quality services, on a regular basis.

Performs internal and external audits to ensure compliance with all command policies, procedures, standards and regulation.

Observes/monitors technical and personal evaluation, training/qualification, acting as necessary to ensure all assigned personnel are certified to cover the full spectrum of work center requirements as specified.

Ensures Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) compliance.

Ensures Maintenance/Work Instructions and Quality Procedures reflect most current policies and procedures
