Special skills in Oracle Database tuning, backup and maintaince and tuning of Java Web

Profile of The Job :
Key Roles: Designing of application on databases on Oracle, SQL, DB2 and application on
Java, ColdFusion, System integration of various technology and providing solution to the
customer requirements, JRun (Java Web Server) Technical Support for the South Asia (Hong
Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, India). Performance Tuning of the Web Application and Solving
the bottlenecks of the Application using the web Analyzing Tools like E-Test Suit, Skill

As a Sr. Solution Engineer my profile is to Design the Databases and Application for the
Clients and the necessary tools and scripts for the backup and Maintenance of the database
on the Sun Solaris & WindowsNT Platforms. Also involved in Developing the GUI components
in JAVA for the front end Utilities for the easy access of the database administration and
Maintenance Strategies on the Web, using the Java interfaces. We are now developing the
front-end interfaces and utilities for the database to take the back up and other
administration utilities of the Database. I am also involved in design and developing the
Java based application with Java Messaging services that will be communicating with the
web applications to the legacy systems. This front end actually performance all the DBA
activities of the Database for the module. Clustering of application in ColdFusion and
JRun. I also look after the JRun Web Server and the maintenance of the Web servers of the
clients. As a System Designer we have designed the application on ColdFusion integrating
with the Microsoft Exchange 2000 server for customer using the com objects for
communications between Exchange server and ColdFusion.

Singapore:
Involved in a project for a Workflow Application Build on Java and ColdFusion. The
backend database used is the Oracle. My profile in the project is to build up the Workflow
for the application and to handle the integration part with the ColdFusion and Java. Also
the implementation of the project on site.
Involved in a project that has integration of the MicroSoft Exchange 2000 with the
ColdFusion. This application is a Typical customization for the Client to integrate the
Exchange with the ColdFusion for better
Malaysia:
Involved in the creating a replication of Oracle replication for a Production Industry to
online synchronization of data for their Organization. For this we have done two kinds of
Oracle replication one Database is completed replicated (Full Database) from Singapore to
Malaysia so that this also helps them to maintain a standby database, other we have done
the snapshot replication of the database.
Hong Kong:
Involved in a performance tuning of a database in that is replicated form Singapore and
Hong Kong. Involved in the analysis of the database statistics given by the scripts of the
Oracle and implemented a Tuning Strategies for their database for a better performance of
the database.
Korea & Taiwan
:
Involved in design a Oracle database for a Stock broker organization for their online
messaging queuing server to maintaince a Asynchronous messaging Server for their internal
