SENIOR SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER - Recruited to act in a senior leadership role within the global supply chain group to efficiently manage $100M in accessories and OEM spend and over 20 international suppliers at this $800M barcode computer and printer manufacturer. Quickly improved supplier performance by instituting Quality Business Reviews, report cards, and new savings projects. Extended into non-production software licensing, government supply agreements, major RFQ programs, EU Restriction of Hazardous Substances & ISO compliance.
Negotiated immediate cost down of $1M / 5% in spend with largest electronic accessory supplier within two months of hire, followed by an additional $1.1M the following year.
As part of the EMS supplier exit strategy, conducted a $20M printer & hand-held computer RFQ between Malaysia and Singapore. Presented a 25% / $5M cost savings and 6-month payback period to Operations Executive Team to justify the move, which was accepted.

Developed commodity strategies, forecasted market impacts, approved all contracts, and validated PPV savings on $140M in spend on metal, electronics, and plastic fabrication. Met $1M realized savings goal for Fiscal Year 2010. Conceived and drove an online sourcing event for 15 brands and 10 tier-one suppliers. Consolidated supply base by 60%, standardized parts by 80%, and saved over $1.4M in annual savings.
