Research Assistant, May 2005 to September 2006, Department of Chemistry, IIT Kanpur, India
Synthesized and Characterized mono-carboxylic acid porphyrin derivatives of AB3 type having
4-carboxyphenyl group on 5th position, and by changing the substituents on 10th, 15th and 20th
positions of porphyrin ring depending on their characteristics.
Synthesized and Characterized novel functional dendrimers having multi-porphyrin arrays as
macrocyclic coordinating ligands to different metals using mono-carboxylic acid porphyrin
derivatives.
Summer Internship, May 2004 to July 2004, School of Chemistry, University of New South
Wales, Sydney, Australia.
Worked on preparation of pyrrolo[a] indoles and cyclopentano[b] indoles.
Obtained through N1 and C2 substitution on 4, 6-Dimethoxy-3-methylindole and, C2 and C3
substitution on 4, 6-Dimethoxy-1-methylindole respectively.
4, 6-Dimethoxy-3-methylindole and 4, 6-Dimethoxy-1-methylindole were prepared from 3, 5-
