MKS has been developing its line of Configuration Management products for a number of

years. It has been one of the leading companies in its sector for many years.

Helped to demonstrate version control and release processes by creating a scenario where

clients would checkout and checkin code. Also demonstrated checkpoint code, created

variants, reverted to earlier checkpoints, and set up users and groups.

Installed MKS software, tested new versions for issues that may have been missed, and

conducted software evaluations and pilots. Also tested beta versions with the examples we

created for demonstrating Source Integrity.

Documented all requirements and changes to each individual client's setup to help future

consultants make improvements for the client.

Logged issues into the CRM program to be repaired by the development team. Provided the

scenario and the results. Also tried to repeat issues when they occurred.

Management company, providing technical support for MKS Source Integrity and Change

Integrity, supporting UK branch office network infrastructure and users.

The UK has many companies that use MKS Source Integrity and Change Integrity. They often

require help when things don't work the way they expect, when going back to checkpoint or

release. They also require a technical support person to support the 15 users in the UK

office and the NT 4 and telephone network infrastructure.

The technical support team helps the customer to resolve their issues with the MKS

product. This team supports the UK, Ireland, Sweden, Denmark, Spain and Australia.

Installed and maintained software and hardware for UK team office. Maintained the

computer network, telephone network.

Installed and maintained Microsoft Exchange 5.1.

Added a Checkpoint Firewall system to help the UK office communicate with the American

offices and share resources.

Helped the office move by installing the new infrastructure and re-configuring the old

infrastructure for the new offices. The original network had been assembled on an as

needed basis. As more capacity was needed a new server was added. The company needed some

planning and re-building. We rebuilt the computer network and servers and added some new

hardware. Helped to increase the speed of the network 100 fold.

Added dialup network server and three lines for remote access.

Managed a telephone consulting company who installed a New Meridian phone switch and

maintained the switch thereafter.

Installed new T1 (4mb) Internet connection to support the UK office.

Helped Pre-sales Consultants to install new versions of the MKS software and keep up to

date with current MKS software issues.

Installed and maintained an ArcServe backup software system with weekly incremental

backups, end of the week complete backups and a monthly complete backup.

Tested new and beta versions of the software and reported issues to the development team

using the CRM system.
