NHL Winter Classic Team Leader
Ann Arbor Convention & Visitor's Bureau
A contracted position with responsibilities of planning all Ann Arbor events surrounding the 2014 NHL Winter Classic. (Originally slotted for Jan.1, 2013, but postponed due to NHL lockout). I planned three major events to take place in Ann Arbor, including a New Year's Eve street party in Downtown Ann Abor with an expected attendance of 8,000. Another responsibility of this position is handling all of the Marketing and PR for the three events.
10/10/2012 - 11/13/2012
Ladies Night Event and Marketing Coordinator
English Gardens
For this contracted project my task was to get several local businesses to participate in the event by offering samples or providing a service at the event. I was able to successfully do this in a very short period time and even had participation from such businesses as Pottery Barn and Zingerman's. I was also responsible for building and managing the Google adwords program as well as all PR for the event.

Marketing and PR Director
Rose's Good Company
I recently began working with this charitable organization to increase branding and awareness in the community of all the good they do. I am doing this largely through the use of social media, such as Facebook and Twitter, and also working on a monthly blog tied into the community newspaper.
06/15/2009 - 08/31/2012
Advertising Manager
AnnArbor.com
I was on the original leadership team that worked closely with the CEO and Marketing Director to develop community engagement. The goal was to help the community as well as our local advertisers transition from a 180 year old newspaper to a digital news source.
