Experience
Summer Intern June, 2011 - August, 2011
Worked on 3D Histogram matching algorithm and 3D SIFT algorithm on NVidia GPU to be used
for adaptive transfer functions.
Center for Imaging Science, Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, Maryland USA
Summer researcher May, 2009 - August, 2009
Parallelized the Large Deformation Di eomorphic Metric Mapping (LDDMM) tool on graphics pro-
cessing unit.
National Stock Exchange of India, Mumbai, Maharashtra India
Associate Systems Analyst July, 2005 - August, 2008
IPNET and Net-Market Split Project
Deployed an IP network across India for trading. The project involved moving from the X.25
protocol to IP-based protocols. Converting the existing Trading System into Distributed Ar-
chitecture. Traditionally, all user management activities and trade matching were being done
by single individual machines. Now the user management part is handled by a separate set
of machines and trade matching is done by separate machines. These machines communicate
with each other with e cient Message Bus and ensure that the data is available without any
loss in transmission.
Parallel Risk Management System (PRISM)
Developed a Parallel Risk Management system for real-time monitoring of risks in NSE India.
Enablement/Disablement System
This system was needed to centralize enablement/disablement process of NSE. Accordingly a
substantial change was done in the cluster-based system.
Closeout System
This facility allowed members whose trading rights have been suspended to sell o their open
positions.
General Industrial Control, Pune, Maharashtra India.
Undergraduate Intern July, 2004 - June, 2005
Implementation and Evaluation of Modbus protocol for networking of embedded systems.
