Objective: Seeking a Product Design / Manufacturing / Supply Chain position as Project Manager / Director /
Team Coordinator IP Portfolio Manager Transition Manager requiring strong technical,
project management and supply chain development skills. Strong interest in technical problem
solving, and development of successful manufacturing processes and procedures to build products,
within cost and schedule constraints.
Summary: Over thirty five years of experience in engineering design, product manufacturing and business
development with a demonstrated track record of accomplishment. Able to think outside the
box, has a whatever it takes attitude to resolving practical problems and ensuring that key
project deliverables are completed on time, within budget and according to customers
specifications.
Proven ability to lead a team of professionals, including assignment and coordination of work
activities, technical design, personnel development and management activities, and raise the level
of technical and business staff on the team. Demonstrated ability to liaise between Product
Development and Marketing staff. Ability to coordinate technical successes with intellectual
property business protections through admittance to prepare and prosecute patent applications
before the United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO) as a registered Patent Agent.
Broad based and successful Technical and Management experience in Electronic, Electro-ceramic
and Electro-Mechanical systems in both very large corporations (General Dynamics) and very
small companies (Composite Specialties, Inc.). Participated at the corporate level, developing
strategy pertaining to project and product development, and building teams to carry out said
strategy. Designed and manufactured over a hundred products utilizing circuit design,
electromechanical controls and/or electro-optics; many of these product lines grossed over a
million dollars each, including several with Dr. Martin s patented infrared sensor. Valuable
experience in leading hardware design, specification, test method, failure diagnosis, yield analysis,
and corrective action identification efforts.
