• Assisted Lotus in the development of online extended healthcare enterprises and in re-engineering related processes. • For a small telemedicine startup, provided enterprise-architecture innovations to support a global homecare network linking pa-tients, providers, monitoring devices, hospital information systems, and administrators.

• For AmeriCares, participated in the redesign and implementation of a medical outreach program platform. Advised the project manager and client professionals on requirements gathering, wireframing, project management, and front-end code implementa-tion.

Information Architecture

Devised and supervised a software evaluation pilot and developed an internal marketing strategy, a deployment plan, and core marketing materials.

• Contributed to the architecture of IBM's KnowledgeTool expert-systems platform and advised research, development, and mar-keting groups from prototype inception through product release. Co-authored a book (published by Addison-Wesley) about building expert systems featuring KnowledgeTool examples.

• Designed and implemented a search engine for online shopping incorporating a new personalization architecture for Gramercy Innovations, LLC.

• At IBM, co-developed one of the first realtime expert systems. Received a Research Division Award.

• For Knowledge Advantages, developed Decision Calculator apps for making difficult decisions across a variety of industries and platforms. Focused on decisions with multiple competing objectives and uncertainty.

• Delivered technical courses at Boston University on core programming languages (e.g., C/C knowledge representations (e.g., rule-based systems, neural networks), and the processes of designing and building practical commercial systems.

Business Development and Marketing
