EXPERIENCE

Account Manager, Retail Power Sales, Entergy Solutions, LLC., Stamford, Ct/Houston, TX 2008 to 2012 ( First Qtr )

* Responsible for selling a portion of the Power produced from the Indian Point Energy Center (NY State) and Pilgrim Station (State of Ma.) to industrial and commercial end users in those states.

* Identified and contacted potential customers throughout those states and made sales calls soliciting retail power business for Entergy.

* Exceeded sales margin objectives and successfully implemented power contracts that exceeded annual goals.

Sr. Procurement Specialist, Entergy Nuclear NE., White Plains, NY 2001 to 2007

* Responsible for negotiating and implementing fleet wide contracts for various commodities and services used throughout the Entergy nuclear fleet. Service contracts included Diving (both nuclear safety-related and non nuclear), Lab Services, Radiological Waste Disposal Services, and Corporate-wide Third Party (3PL) logistics agreement.

* Implemented $5.0 mm commodity contract for bulk and cylinder gases across the nuclear and fossil fuel plants saving over $600k annually. Savings based on price reductions, and lost cylinder tracking system that eliminated lost cylinder fees.

* Negotiated and implemented software license agreements as well as actual software contracts for engineering and training software packages. These software packages were coordinated with our Corporate Supply Chain offices to obtain the best value for Entergy.

* Provided outage support by working at Indian Point Energy Nuclear Power Plant, Westchester County, NY (2002-2003 outages) and Pilgrim Station, Plymouth MA (2005 outage) and assisted station MP&C department. This support included processing requisitions for plant construction and maintenance services, turbine repair, pipe & valves, and a variety of IT and telecommunication equipment used during refueling outages.

* Utilized and experienced in both SAP and INDUS PASSPORT enterprise systems used to process electronic requisitions, place purchase orders, write contracts, issue reports & expedite orders.

Marketing Account Manager, Tosco Marketing Co., Greenwich, Ct 2000 to 2001

* Identified potential customers throughout New England states and made sales calls soliciting No. 6 oil business for Tosco refinery.

* Far exceeded sales quota and margin requirements on the sale of over 300,000 barrels of residual fuel (No.6 oil) sold to end users in my territory.

Corporate Purchasing Manager, International Paper Company (Champion/St.Regis) 1973 to 2000

* Responsible for managing and directing International Paper's (formerly St. Regis Corp) purchasing and stores department at IP's largest pulp and paper mill in Monticello, Ms. Set and managed goals, objectives and budget for 17 purchasing and storeroom staff. Set and implemented purchasing strategy for mill's $60 million purchasing budget. (1980-1983).

* Managed corporate chemical and energy buying group at corporate headquarters for all IP's (formerly Champion International) US pulp and paper mills (1984-2000). Responsible for the procurement of natural gas, 1.2 million tons of coal per year, over 2.0 million barrels of oil and power with gross expenditures in excess of $300 million.

* Chemical buying responsibility included all pulping chemicals, paper making commodities and coating materials used at IP's US paper mills (1994-2000).

* Consistently met cost savings goals and objectives and developed creative approaches to buying energy and chemicals. Helped develop cross functional teams for selection of major chemical suppliers.
