Brought on board to work with a lean consultant to create a system to manage the existing organization. Cash flow issues plagued the transformation and the reorganization was eliminated.

Division Manager / Director of Operations Precision Converting, Division of Hisco Inc. Corona, CA May 2008 - November 2011 (Position eliminated, left on good terms)

Promoted from Director to Division Manager to centralize the division`s functional operations in a new manufacturing facility and grow the sales volume. Sales volume increased 22% in FY2011. The position was one of five reporting directly to the President.

Managed four manufacturing operations in three states. Full P&L responsibility.

Coordinated the fabrication support for 24 distinct distribution branches across the country.

Fabrication sales in excess of 24MM in 2011, up 22% from 2010.

Annual Business plans with three year look ahead for planning.

Preferred converter for 3M and participated in their Global Converter Summit.

Implemented new ERP/MRP system. (Epicor 9)

Located, negotiated and leased the new Corona fabrication facility and oversaw the move and set-up of the world class operation.

Director of Operations Boyd Corporation, Chino, CA May 1995 - July 2007.

Championed Boyd`s new manufacturing plant in Guadalajara, Mexico. Designed the facility layout, acquired and transferred all equipment, trained Production and Quality Managers and liaised with local customers. Three years later relocated the entire fabrication operation from Mexico and the U.S. to a manufacturing plant in Shenzhen, China. Planned and implemented the conversion and relocation of the equipment to the new China facility. Lead the first start-up team to China to implement Boyd systems and train the management at the China facility.

Developed the operational objectives of a dynamic manufacturing organization and was responsible for complete facility P&L with objectives tied to annual business plans.

Exceeded plan EBIT numbers 10 of 12 years earning substantial profits for the company.

Directed all technical aspects of the manufacturing life cycle, including finance, production, estimating, quality assurance, R&D, and engineering.

Selected by the Department of the Army as the industry consultant for a U.S. / German government joint venture developing manufacturing capabilities in Istanbul, Turkey.
