GORDY WATERMAN ..DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY
..I could write all sorts of self-important blather here about how impressive my vision is of how to go about documenting the world around us, but the only truth that really matters is that I m fast and good at what I do ..and at least half of my shots are in focus. I m also pretty inventive when reality and circumstance aren t willing to serve up what we know the camera really wants to see. The picture above is behind the Tiffany clock on the Park Avenue side of Grand Central Station
Gordy Waterman has been a Director of Photography for 35 yrs. His work has won him 3 Emmy Awards for Cinematography and 1 Oscar nomination.
