Business Manager (April 2008 to November 2010), on the Beacon Hill Tunnels and Station Project for Sound Transit in Seattle, WA ($279 million). I was responsible for payroll, accounts payable accounts receivable eeo labor relations and purchasing The project consists of twin tunnels and underground and aerial stations to allow the region`s Link Light Rail System to pass through Beacon Hill on its way to SeaTac Int`l Airport. The work includes the mining of twin 4,300` long by 21` bored, 18` inside diameter tunnels in sand, silts, and clays with an earth pressure balance (EPB) machine. The tunnels will have precast reinforced concrete segmental lining. Transitions at each end of the tunnels will be conventionally mined. The station cavern and two large diameter, 180` deep shafts will be mined with NATM techniques. On the surface there is 2,100` of twin aerial guideways and an aerial station structure. The stations include all finishes including mechanical, HVAC, electrical, lighting, signage, elevators, and escalators.

Business Manager (3/03 to 12/07) for Granite Construction Company, on the Reno ReTrac Design Build Project for the City of Reno, Nevada ($175 million). I was responsible for establishing and supervising all business and administrative functions including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, purchasing, warehousing, EEO officer, benefits coordinator, union labor relations, subcontract administration, and 401k administration. The project involved lowering 2 miles of railroad track into a new open cut structure 30 feet below grade through downtown Reno, to alleviate traffic congestion. Cross streets were placed on prefabricated bridges.
Business Manager (2/02 to 3/03) for Granite Construction for the Design Build US 60 Freeway Project for the Arizona Department of Highways ($185 million). He was responsible for establishing and supervising all business and administrative functions including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, purchasing, warehousing, benefits coordinator, and the processing of subcontractor payments for a design-build highway project in Mesa, Arizona.
Business Manager (7/99 to 11/01) for Flatiron Structures Company`s Design-Build Division, Denver, Colorado. I was responsible for all aspects of financial reporting and contract administration for projects totaling $100 million per year in revenue. He managed business and administration for numerous design-build and construction management contracts from start-up to completion.
Business Manager (1/95 to 7/99) on the Eastern Transportation Corridor Design-Build Project, for the Transportation Corridor Agency, Irvine, California ($800 million). The contractor was Silverado Constructors, a joint venture of Flatiron, Obayashi, Sukut, and Wayss & Freytag. He was responsible for establishing and supervising all business and administrative functions for this five-year toll road project. He managed all financial reporting, banking and investments, payroll, 401k administration, accounts payable, accounts receivable, insurance, bonds, purchasing, warehousing, EEO compliance, union labor relations, taxes, and audits. The project consisted of a new 24-mile long toll road consisting of two or three lanes in each direction plus auxiliary and climbing lanes, over 60 bridges, and 4 major intersections. Construction required moving 70 million cubic yards of earth, building 300 lane/miles of concrete pavement, and 1.8 million square feet of reinforced concrete structures, and included an automatic toll collection system allowing cars with special tags to pass at full speed through the five toll plazas.
Railroad Division Manager (3/90 to 1/95) for Morrison Knudsen Corporation, Southern California Area Office. Responsible for all aspects of financial reporting and the supervision of personnel required to administer light rail, infrastructures, and tunnel project contracts totaling $150 million per year in revenue.

Responsible for financial reporting, placement of personnel, cash forecasting, consolidation of financial statements, and development of five-year plan.
