Qualifications Summary
Dr. Wagoner has a strong background in laboratory data quality and laboratory certification through his leadership in the successful NELAC certification of a major laboratory facility and a small laboratory located in Austin, Texas. His technical and operations experience as Technical Director (TD), Operations Manager and Laboratory Manager at both facilities were integrated into the development and ultimate laboratory system. His ability to work with laboratory staff, management, and the QA (Quality Assurance) manager at both laboratories was significant in the success of the two laboratories. This was supported by both technical quality measurements (both internal and external) and profitability for the two laboratories
Dr. Wagoner has over 30 years experience in the areas of organic analysis and by chromatographic methods (GC/MS, ECD, ECLD, and FPD sample preparation, and field sampling of process emissions for trace organic and inorganic residues. He has a strong chromatographic background that includes monitoring of hazardous waste incineration of selected POHCs and PCBs by GC/MS, sample preparation and analysis of OP pesticides, chlorinated pesticides and herbicides by GC. In addition, he has technical and operational experience in the use of IC, ICP, and ICPMS using "Standard Methods for Water and Wastea; EPA Methods for air (TO15), Priority Pollutants, and SW846 for hazardous wastes in liquid and solid matrices.
Dr. Wagoneras background
Dr. Wagoner recently served as Technical Director for AnalySys Inc. Laboratory in Austin, Texas. Through his term of employment, progressing from Operations Manager to Laboratory Manager and Technical Director, he was instrumental in the development and revision of analytical methods and procedures positively reflecting regulatory compliance. Evidence of Dr. Wagoneras efforts and determination were rewarded in the facilityas successful procurement of the NELAC certification and increased profitability.
Dr. Wagoner served as Technical Director /Laboratory Manager for the Organic Extractables Laboratory for Chromatography and Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry (GC/MS) Semivolatiles methods for Severn Trent Laboratories in Austin, TX. His responsibilities included staffing, scheduling, and monitoring work progress in the laboratory. In addition, he was responsible for the training of laboratory personnel within the quality and operational requirements of a NELAC certified laboratory.
