RC SOUTH, Kandahar, Afghanistan

Assist in the management of the largest Hub for the Persistent Ground Surveillance System Project for NAVAIR 4.5. Responsible for 21 PGSS sites consisting of Aerostat Tif-25k Aerostats, TCOM 22m, TCOM 22+ DC, TCOM 28m Aerostats, Ground Control Stations (GCS), Common Ground Control Stations (CGCS), Persistent Ground Surveillance Towers (PGST), Wide Angel Surveillance Towers (WSP). Responsible for dispatching Field Service Representatives (FSR). Maintain status reports of critical spares, including Aerostat Envelopes and payloads (MX15i, MX15 HDi, FLIR 360, FLIR Star Safire, FLIR 380HD) Ordering, tracking and delivery of parts and equipment throughout the RC and CJOA. Oversight of all personnel assignments within the hub including vacation scheduling, promotions and disciplinary actions for 178 personnel including 21 site leads. Daily interaction and briefings to the Regional Command`s Force Protection Office, Theater level Government Leads and Military LNO`s. Responsible for monitoring Helium usage, forecasting helium demands and scheduling helium deliveries throughout the RC. Schedule and approve site surveys and site acceptance surveys for future system installations.

* Oversight of a complete system reconstitution after a catastrophic loss in just 72 hours; a significant improvement over previous incidents of over 30 days throughout the CJOA. Was instrumental in organizing CJOA wide transportation of personnel and equipment.

* Helped develop and implemented policy for the hub setting standards of conduct, competence and professionalism that improved client relations and productivity with results that were cause for a theater-wide policy to be developed with RC South Policy being the building block.

* Oversees the disposition of approximately $126,000,000.00 in equipment and consumables for the Persistent Ground Surveillance Systems throughout Regional Command South.

Oversee base access control for Camp Ramadi to include other Forward Operating Bases (3), ensuring all Third Country Nationals (TCNs) were enrolled in the Biometric Identification System for Access (BISA) and Biometrics Automated Toolset (BAT). Constantly adapted to changes and ensured that the latest training and updates were implemented into the biometrics systems.

* Maintain detailed records database, and MNFI Biometric Identification Cards for all Third Country Nationals, Local Nationals and Coalition members.

* Report directly to the Base Commander and Base Intelligence Officer on all matters concerning Biometric Access Control.

* Maintain and repair all Hand Held Terminal Biometric Card Readers (HHT`s), to include MNFI Biometrics Card Printer.
