Systems Analyst responsible for maintaining the 23 million dollar Proposition 10 Evaluation Data System (PEDS) at the
California Child and Family Commission (CCFC). PEDS is a large ASP.NET, MS SQL, Visual Basic web application.
Maintenance of the PEDS system required learning the existing program structure, fixing existing problems, adding
enhancements, testing those enhancements, and then deploying the solution for state wide access.
September 2008 - June 2010 - Earned a Masters degree in Financial Mathematics at Stanford University
While working at the CCFC I attended Stanford University and earned a Masters degree in Financial Mathematics. At
Stanford I earned a 3.5 GPA and excelled in Monte Carlo modeling and algorithmic trading of O-U processes.
October 2007 to June 2008 - California Department of Transportation (DOT)

Bank of America FIX network, allowing their application to automatically execute transactions on the NYSE, AMES, and
NASDAQ stock exchanges. To implement this interface, I used the Quick FIX open source library written in C++ and
compiled it as a DLL. I passed the Bank of America certification process for this application in June 2007 and then again
in August 2007.

Consultant for Developer of on-line poker system who enlisted my services to expand their demonstration design to a
full scale system to manage the accounting of thousands of simultaneous on-line users in VB and MS SQL.
1984-2002 Hands-on Founder and CEO, CableSoft Inc.
Founded CableSoft, Inc. to create embedded hardware and software to track the real-time financial markets (NYSE, AMEX,
and NASDAQ). The first product, LiveWire (1986), was developed in the era of DOS-based PCs. LiveWire grew in 18 years
to embrace five data-feeds and 3000 customers. LiveWire Professional (1990) added enhanced real-time graphics and
technical analysis. LiveWire Trader (1997) calculated equations tick by tick and displayed data on six monitors. LiveWire
Internet (2000) distributed live charts and the results of complex equations to Internet subscribers using a custom real-time
server operating system with our own TCP/IP stack.
Engineered the embedded hardware and software that introduced four successful hardware/software products into the
PC market.
Managed four programmers and two hardware engineers who created an add-on PC circuit board with RF tuner and
embedded microprocessor to digitize video signals. As this $2,400,000 project evolved, the team under management grew
to 20 personnel.
Coordinated R&D and marketing schedules on four product releases and six software updates.
