Experience
Senior Designer, Team Leader / Weblinx, Inc. - Oswego, IL / Mar. 2008 - Sept. 2011
/ /
Priority one is to help our clients achieve their marketing and communication goals on and off
line. As the Senior Designer and Team Leader at Weblinx, I transitioned from my print design and
marketing career into the interactive realm. Bringing a critical eye to maintaining brand standards
across platforms, I acted as project manager on many of the jobs brought in: creating and executing
the design and production of websites, logos and print marketing materials.
Volunteer / Non-profits including Ronald McDonald House & Marklund / May 2004 - present
/ /
Several times a year, I volunteer my time and expertise for non-profits such the Ronald McDonald
House and Marklund. Past projects for RMH and Marklund have included designing marketing
materials, fund raising event invitations and other marketing materials. Most recently, I re-worked
the Marklund respite program logo, and I am currently working on a tri-fold for the Lincoln Park area
Ronald McDonald House.
Senior Graphic Designer / Live Nation Motorsports - Aurora, IL / Nov. 2001 - Mar. 2008
/ /
At Live Nation, my day-to-day tasks included the creation of marketing materials, ads, posters,
catalogs and merchandise/apparel for internationally touring motor sports events. In this capacity,
I was the lead designer for two of our properties. Also, I worked closely with the web department,
creating and sharing graphics in order to maintain a cohesive message across media. Additionally,
I took on responsibilities such as researching and purchasing of software and hardware for the
department, production coordination on specialty print jobs, and generally, bringing my previous
art direction experience to a diverse art department.
Senior Graphic Designer / H&S Media, Inc. - Bannockburn, IL / Mar. 1999 - Oct. 2001
/ /
My responsibilities at H&S Media primarily consisted of the art direction of niche market magazines.
This included creating and implementing the design aesthetic of the magazine s departments,
features, and in-house advertising as well as managing designers and contributing freelancers and
maintaining art budgets.
