Supported of the production line in the Frame Assembly and Axle Alignment areas.

Designed and/or procured tooling and fixtures to facilitate production.

Wrote critical process documents, to satisfy both the corporate standards and production

requirements, which allowed production to complete the work in station.

Managed capital and expense projects to increase work flow, address safety issues, and

eliminate waste. Projects included: racks, fixtures, tooling and plant improvement.

Supported Six Sigma, 5S, and Mistake Proofing events to increase process flow and improve

plant quality.

in a timely manner to allow the trucks to be built on schedule.

2002 2004

Managed a $1,000,000 Government Grant project Vehicle, Natural Gas/Electric Hybrid with a safety

structure to sustain life in a 50 mph crash.

Created the project plan and gateways allowing the project to be finished on schedule, in

collaboration with the faculty advisor.

Recruited a team of 10 other students to contribute their valuable time and energy to the project.

Designed and fabricated parts and systems to complete the vehicle on time and within budget.

Utilized Pro/Engineer 2001 and Catia V5 to design and CNC machine the parts.

Achieved 3rd place in category, in the 2004 Tour De Sol and then presented the vehicle to the

sponsoring Government agency NHTSA.
