WORK HISTORY

2007-Present Rail Operations Supervisor UTA

Job Responsibilities:

Investigation of any and all incidents involving UTA employees or vehicles, Dealing with employee or customer issues, Performing any and all duties in Control of trains and in Field Operations, Trouble shooting any and all train issues, Dealing with intoxicated or unruly individuals on the trains, Co-operation with all law enforcement and medical personnel, filing all related reports in a timely manner. I organize and run safety drills and with Emergency Responders, including all documentation for these events. I organize and train emergency responder classes on familiarization of the trains. I have participated in FTA and ISO Audits. Documentation of any and all Rail related drills, exercises, training, etc. for the new extensions. I was involved in all aspects of start up for the Mid-Jordan, and West Valley. I oversee all aspects for the Airport Line extensions, including but not limited to the writing of SOP`s (Standard Operating Procedures), documenting all training related to the start up, I write documents used for FTA, and FRA audits. I create matrixes, graphs, tracking and other charts for use in the documentation of training for the new extensions, also used in FTA audits. I write reports/summaries on progress, training and any issues that arise during training for the new extensions. I oversee operations individuals working on the Airport Project, making certain that everything is completed and in order. I work with the contractors and issue track access permits. I order supplies of all kinds for the new projects and the state of good repair project. I ordered many supplies for the new state of the art control room. I know FRA, FTA, UDOT and OSHA regulation for the alignment. I trained most of the Operators and Supervisors for the new lines. I produce a weekly schedule for the Operations Supervisors. I have clear written and oral communication skills, I know radio protocol, policies, procedures, and rules for rail service, performing any and all tasks asked to the best of my abilities, attending all required and many non-required training classes. I have been involved in the interview process for operators. I am involved in Supervisor performance evaluations. I was involved in the creation of the 2013 budget for light rail operations. I also sit on various committees for the safety and improvement of light rail and its employees.
