As a cashier you needed to do everything that was asked to do. I rang customers, help them find an item that they needed or walk them to it. As a cashier we would take turns for who would do the loads in the morning, which meant that the truck would come the night before drop off the pallets of grocery items and we would stock at 6am the next day. If we weren't done before 9am we had to ring up customers and work on the pallet once you get time in between. The night cashier would have to sweep, scrub the entire store and put the items that the customers didn't want, all this I had to do it between customers. I like it because time would go by faster and I love to keep busy.
