Dear Host Company,
I am a junior student major in English and International Law at College of Foreign Studies Liaoning University, I would like to further my personal and professional education by participating in a Summer Work and Travel Program in the U.S.A. Foreign relations are an important component of my studies and this opportunity would enable me to learn more about American life and culture and utilize the English language on a professional level.
During last year I worked for 3 months as a tutor in Liaoyang Baita Primary School. My job was to help 20 students with their homework answer the questions that they asked about their homework .
Throughout my previous employment, educational, and personal experiences, I have demonstrated my ability to be organized, and punctual. I am a friendly and open-minded person. I like working both in groups and individually. I also enjoy learning new skills.
In my personal life, I have a lot of hobbies such as reading books, traveling, listening to music, singing, watching movies and so on . As you can see from my resume, I speak 3 kinds of languages including English; Japanese and Chinese. Travel and reading is very important to my personal and professional growth. Following graduation, I hope to use the skills which will learn in the U.S.A. to find a good job in my home town.
