Successful Executive with over 20 years of progressive experience managing various healthcare entities and retail services ranging from departmental level operations to complete facility management as CEO/COO. PROFESSIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Oversaw successful operational management of various services and departments for numerous large health care facilities and a major home improvement retailer.
Managed all aspects and personnel for physical plant maintenance including building and grounds maintenance, facility housekeeping, dietary services, and physical construction.
Supervised capital and operating budgets up to $75 million and was able to routinely control operations within or under budget. Was nominated for HCA Presidents Award for excellence in Facility Operations.
Coordinated development of numerous service projects which grew referral business up to 45% including a Level I trauma program, $50 million womens center expansion, free standing sports medicine complex, and a satellite physicians office building.
Developed Long-Range Strategic Plans that addressed service expansion/protection in competitive markets, start-up of new services in attractive outlying markets, and facility renovation and growth.
Successfully facilitated all aspects of human resources services including utilization of staff improvement task forces to address operational challenges, initiation of a 360 degree evaluation program for evaluation of facility management, development of a school teacher style schedule to address unique patient census trends, and oversight of an updated man-hour productivity monitoring program that identified savings of up to 75 FTEs without compromising service.
Chaired and participated in numerous Boards, Task Forces, and Committees, including participation in a national task force to evaluate and negotiate contracts for surgical packs, negotiation of major managed care health care contracts, and participation as the facility Ethics Compliance Officer.
Managed fleet of transport trucks for mobile CT/Lithotripsy and delivery of patients and supplies. Oversaw all maintenance, staffing, and state/federal licensing of the fleet.
