QUAD GRAPHICS (formerly World Color), Jonesboro, AR, 1998 to Present (Pending division closure)

A 600+ employees / 423K sq, ft. division of the international provider of commercial printing and multichannel communications with 23K employees doing $4.8B/yr. in sales The Jonesboro division specializes in printing and distributing high-volume Retail Catalogs such as Oriental Trading and Magazines such as Elle and Rolling Stone - The plant went through multiple ownerships and is now going through a process of consolidation following the recent acquisition of World Color by Quad Graphics. The Jonesboro division will close at the end of 2012.

Material Handler / Fork and Clamp Truck Operator Transport, unload and load 6 ton+ roll stock and paper waste products in and out of the facility as well as within the facility by use of industrial trucks. Assure timely and efficient supply of the product to the press rooms. Correctly identify paper sizes for presses, handling 300,000 lbs of paper during the day. Ensure correct product location and documentation. Assist during all internal customer audits. Handle all damaged and rejected paper products. Handle last minute changes without service interruptions. Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the department. Hook-up switch box cars to a track mobile to go into car and load product.
