Was instrumental in two expansion projects during my first three months here at Kenco providing 3PL services for Green Mountain Coffee Rosters. Developed and implemented general housekeeping standards and 5S program throughout this 1.1M Sq Ft distribution center, took inventory results from losing an excess of $1M in lost inventory due to broken processes and a lack of training, to being 99.97% ($50M dollars of on hand inventory) accurate in two months by identifying root causes of the inventory discrepancies and course correcting also by holding people accountable.

Developed and implemented general housekeeping standards and 5S program throughout three Bunzl facilities. Performed complete analyses for gaining productivity improvements by doing an ABC analysis on fastest moving items and reduced travel for these items. Improved morale for both facilities by catching our employees doing something right, rewarding them for the positive as opposed to always looking at the negative. Was assigned the full responsibility for relocating our Carteret NJ facility to Perth Amboy. This project was completed on time and under budget also spearheaded the 10k sq ft office reconfiguration.

We opened new 465k sq ft Distribution Center on time and under budget. I Managed Staff of 5 Operations Managers supporting 12 supervisors, 125 production associates and $48M operating budget. Served as the Single Point of Contact for all buildings` KPI and benchmarked between facilities to ensure consistent improvements across the network. Implemented the Powered Industrial Vehicle safety program for our facility and shared this information with the network to ensure consistency.
*Reduced full pallet errors by implementing our company Gotcha Program for the pallet build department. Maintained productivity and adjusted schedules daily plus cross-trained staff on all operations to continue and drive cross functional teamwork within the building.
*Implemented hiring standards for all management new hires to ensure training budget was strictly adhered to. Maintained travel arrangements for all hourly staff members; traveled at the same times and shared cars and rooms wherever possible.
*Trained 225 hourly associates on powered industrial equipment, classroom sessions/road testing. Implemented train the trainer program to ensure all associates was trained in the same manner.
