Care Coordinator

Looking for a position as a Spiritual Care Coordinator/chaplain (N.C. & S.C Counties)

I am looking for a position as a Spiritual Care Coordinator/Chaplain. I am currently employed by ProCare Hospice in Lancaster, CA but looking to relocate in this area of S.C. & N.C.

My current position is "Spiritual Care Coordinator/Chaplain and it has been for the last five years, I'm also an ordain minister pastoring a congregation of 40 members; and have been pastoring for the last 9 years. The church's web site is (lowsda.org) the church is located in Frazier Park, CA.

In hospice my responsibilities are: To supervised the Spiritual Care Department, assuring that every patient and family is provided spiritual care according to the Plan of care. I also guide and supervise two other chaplains. Being part of the Interdisciplinary Team gives me the opportunity to provides spiritual and emotional support to the hospice staff, in addition to working close with the local clergy, I orient and educates Hospice staff and volunteers regarding various faiths and denominations, cultures and traditions.

I am a graduate of Trinity Bible College with a Bachelor of Arts in Theology. I am sensitive to the issues of death and dying, loss and grief, and knowledgeable, respectful and accepting of patients with diverse religious practices. I am commited to the values of Hospice care. I have excellent communication, and listening skills. have experience in public speaking and computer skills and have the ability to supervise effectively.
