Customer Data Conversion System
This project mainly aims at processing the customers data file, with the
intelligence module where in some rules are set up and then convert it to an
XML file and then write it to the database.
A SQL Server database stores all the information regarding customers. The
objective is to extract the data in the customer file, process it and store it
in a database. The system updates customer information in the database if
there is any change to the details of the existing customers. A state manager
module was also developed so that only the necessary fields in the record would
be updated rather than whole record. The front-end model was designed using
JSP's and Java Beans. It provided an efficient interface to browse and search
through the records, view the log files and many more features.
Role:
Involved in programming of JSP files.
Used JDBC to connect the database.
Connecting and interacting with MS-SQL databases.
Responsible for creating user interface screens using HTML and
Javascript functions.
Involved in testing and implementation.
Environment: Java, JSP, JDBC, HTML, Java Script, MS-SQL and Windows NT

the basic functionality of the system is covered. This includes the modules of
uploading student application form data to the database and viewing of student
data by giving a search.
Role:
Used Javascript for Front-end logic and event handling.
Used JDBC for the database connectivity
Used JavaWebServer for executing the Servlets.
Environment: Java, Servlets, JDBC, Java Webserver 2.0, HTML, Java
Script, MS-SQL Server 6.5 and Windows NT.

This project is a part of Thermal Power Plant Automation application related to
environmental control and dealing with the supervisory system, which aids in
functioning of the plant. It handles the management information for environment
management, coal and ash handling operations. The module deals with periodic
acquisition of Real Time data from the control system and display of this data
on X-
Hosts as well as on dedicated terminals. The module provides for periodic
updating of incoming data on the screen through trend graphs, which forms part
of the supervisory facilities of the Control System.
Role:

This project mainly deals with handling of coal, which involves mixing of
different brands of coal and movement of the coal from ship to silos and from
silos to bunkers. Also this project deals with Power Generation and planning.
The coal data is periodically acquired from the control system, displayed on an
X host and on dedicated hardware terminals. The display includes historical
trend graphs, monthly report generation.
This module uses CS computer window for GUI requirements and Datacell, a
proprietary database.
Role:
Involved in design, development, unit and integration testing of the system.
Environment: HP_UX 10.2 and C.
