I am extremely interested in becoming your next top employee! I have experience in sales, stock, food service, assembly, and hospitality. I am open to any and all job offers. I strive for excellence in everything I do, so I consider myself an asset to any company, corporation, or team that will employ me. I am a single mom but have assistance with child-care so I vow to be a hard-worker, very dependable and available around the clock for any shift available. I am drug-free and well educated. You can reach me on my cell, either by phone or text, or email me. Again, ANY time is a good time to reach me.
Waffle House 06/2006-10/2011
(Food Service)
Fairgrove Church Rd
Conover, NC 28613
Server/Salesperson- Greeting each and every customer with a warm welcome and a smile, taking, preparing, and delivering their orders, pre-bussing as well as bussing tables, writing guest checks, and taking payment at the register. I appreciated how everyone had their individual duties, yet we also worked as a team. There was general as well as industrial cleaning. Waffle House is a 24-hours and I have worked every (and sometimes multiple) shift(s) without complaint, and was never absent on holidays.
I am no longer with Waffle House, as I chose to spend more time at home raising my son.
LA Express/ J & L Run-In 10/2005-05/2006
(Convenience Stores)
Springs Rd, Hickory, NC/
Hwy 16, Newton, NC
Sales Associate- Open and closing store, cashiering, sales, stock, inventory, check-cashing, tax-preparation, filing, shipping and receiving, cleaning and organizing the store, and signage. I enjoyed the responsibility and experience I gained from this job.
I would have held this position longer, but sadly the owner passed away and the stores are now family-owned and operated.
Trim Systems 04/2005-09/2005
(Industrial- Assembly)
320 New Bern Rd
Dublin, VA
I cross-trained while I was Trim Systems. I became familiar with every station in the department that produced the interior panels for Volvo's transfer trucks. I am experienced in gluing, die-cutting, assembly, and run a press. Preparing and boxing for shipping as well. I transferred to become a robot-operator when the team leader suggested I do so, where I received higher hourly wages supervising a machine cut plastic molds and then stacked them for shipping to another plant.
I no longer am employed at Trim Systems because I moved from Dublin, Virginia to Hickory, North Carolina, where my family resides.
I received my GED in September of 2006. My plans are to further my education at CVCC, where I wish to obtain a degree in Business Management.
I appreciate you taking the time to look over my resume. I would be grateful if you would take into consideration offering me the opportunity to join and represent your company or place of business. Thank you!
