As a management consultant with Canada's largest professional services
firm I am responsible for executive search within the human resources
practice of the Edmonton office. Since assuming this position we have
undertaken more search work in the first four months of fiscal '96 '97
than in any previous full year. Ninety percent of my '96 '97 financial
target has been met after four months. This increase is attributable
to a combination of marketing and communication efforts and to the
fact that executive search is my primary focus. Previously, executive
search was a secondary focus within the human resources practice.
Director HR
.netWork, January 1994February 1995 Provide consulting
services to large and small organizations in the areas of Human
Resource Management, Outplacement, Training and Development, and
Strategic Marketing. Owner and operator of the HR.netWork a consulting
company and online information provider for Human Resource Management
Professionals, Employers, Individual Job Seekers, and Employment
Agencies in conjunction with BEST Online. I also work on contract as
the Marketing Director for TDi, a high technology start up company
developing products for the pharmaceutical industry, on retainer as a

staff complement of 17. Coordinated preparation and production of the
corporate Human Resource Plan and coordinated the objectives and

Coordinated the internal review of the organizations downsizing and
prepared the final report which included assessment of our practices
and recommendations for improvement of future restructuring efforts.
Developed the functional program which guided the organizations
implementation of its Employee and Family Assistance Program. The

organizations Pay for Performance/Performance Management program.

Responsible for the administration of six functional areas: Staff
Education, Library and Audiovisual Services, Occupational Health and
Safety, Health Resources Centre, Policies and Procedures, and
Volunteer Services. Managed a budget of almost 2 million dollars and a
staff complement of almost 40. Directly supervised five managers and
one supervisor. Chaired the Human Resources Policy and Procedure
Committee. Served as an active member of the Human Resources
Management Information Systems Project Committee and chaired the
Training Work Group which successfully coordinated training for the
implementation of the new HRMIS. Developed and coordinated the WHMIS
