WORK EXPERIENCE:

Shareholder/Managing Partner - Dsouza Law Group, P.A. March 2005 to Present

Since 2005, I have represented individuals in the United States Bankruptcy Court in Personal and Business Bankruptcy (Chapter 7, 13 and 11). I also defend foreclosures, assist individuals in refinancing, negotiate with creditors, assist in clearing credit report deficiencies, defend credit card lawsuits, contract disputes, real estate litigation, landlord-tenant law, employment law, tax law, immigration law and lawsuits against abusive debt collectors under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.

Associate - The Dellutri Law Group, P.A. November 2003 to March 2005.

Partner - Divale, Tolentino & Dsouza, P.A. March 2003 to November 2003.

While at the above law firms, I focused my practice in representing individuals in Personal and Business Bankruptcy, Bankruptcy related litigation, Personal Injury, Family law, Foreclosure defense, Credit card, contract, and real estate litigation. I also represented individual and institutional creditors in Bankruptcy Court.

Associate - David Marshall Brown and Associates, P.A. October 1999 to March 2003.

I started with the Firm as a Law Clerk, and after admission to the Florida Bar I was hired by the firm as an associate. As an associate lawyer at the firm, I primarily focused my practice in representing individuals and businesses in the United States Bankruptcy Court in Personal and Business Bankruptcies, Bankruptcy related litigation, Bankruptcy appeals to the United States District Court. I also practiced Probate law, Foreclosure law, credit card litigation, contract, and other civil litigation.

Prior to becoming a lawyer, I worked for cruise lines and hotels in senior management positions. I also owned and operated various franchised businesses (Dunkin Donuts, Baskin Robbins and Precision Tune Auto Care Centers) for 15 years prior to becoming a lawyer.
