Duties
Complete Operations and Laboratory Analysis of the Water Treatment Facility. Maintained State Laboratory Certification in Wet Chemistry and Microbiology in order to perform record analysis. Managed plant flow and treatment processes through the SCADA (Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition) system in order to maintain adequate water levels for fire safety and customer usage. Determined and adjusted well configurations based on water system demand. Monitored wastewater lift station wet well levels through plant SCADA system. Monitored Electric Department SCADA System. Responded to and documented customer questions, comments and concerns for all departments. Dispatched emergency response and trouble crews and documented call outs though the Dexatrack system. Coordinated emergency response and trouble crews through the appropriate department supervisors. Maintained and compiled accurate records in order for plant personnel to monitor daily laboratory analysis, chemical usage and finished water consumption. Prepared reports as required. My duties include:
Supervise the sludge wasting schedule through a local septic hauler.
Instruct maintenance personnel about proper plant maintenance such as; scraping clarifier walls for proper sludge collection and return.
During my weekly inspections I scrape clarifier walls, make necessary adjustments, monitor sludge characteristics and issue an inspection report to maintenance personnel with any suggestions.

Analyzed for Temperature, pH, Chlorine, Dissolved Oxygen, Suspended Solids, 5-day Biological Oxygen Demand, Phosphorous, Oil and Grease and Fecal Coliform.
Reported the characteristics of the raw wastewater, mixed liquor, liquid supernatant and final effluent.
Maintained the laboratory.

Wasted sludge, cleaned bar screens, serviced and monitored blowers, inspected worm gears, collector drives and surface skimmers.
Monitored and maintained sodium bisulfate pumps, chlorine tanks and manifold system.

Duties at the City of Canal Fulton within the Sewage Collection System.
Operation of the sewer rodding and jetting machine to open blocked mains as part of emergency and routine sewer maintenance.
