LOG LINE: Smart young eager beaver, fresh off the plane from flyover country, comes to NYC to
Make It Big in the entertainment biz.
EDUCATION
Bachelor of Arts: Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana Sept 2005 -
May 2011
Major: Telecommunications / Minor: Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management
At the end of high school I was named one of Indiana s 21st Century Scholars, which meant that I
got a full-
tuition scholarship for as long as I wanted to study undergrad, as long as I did so in-
state. So I went to IU for six years, during which time I effectively got two full majors and also did
every internship I could find that had anything to do with film/TV/video production.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Warner Brothers Television, Casting Department, New York City Sept 2011 Nov 2011
8-
week Full-
Time Paid Internship
Managed and distributed sides, scripts and schedules, read with actors and assisted with tapings.
Took notes at weekly Producers Meetings and Generals. Volunteered to comb through and
reorganize the filing system for all past projects, then did the same for the department s online
database (Microsoft Access), and finally, for my boss desk. Reference: Meg Simon, Vice President,

PBS/WTIU, Bloomington, Indiana May 2007 August 2011
Assistant to the Director of National Production
Over four years, I did about every job there was to do at this local PBS affiliate, and learned to
operate every piece of equipment they had. As the National Director s assistant, I conducted
preproduction research, managed all project files, created production books, recruited crew
members and scheduled meetings and shoots. Reference: Steven Krahnke @ (812) 856-

Road Pictures, Indianapolis, Indiana September 2009 May 2010
Paid Internship: Assistant to the Executive Producer and Owner
This was a local production company that produced commercials and industrials for national clients.
Because it was a small company, I ended up doing a bit of everything and assisted in all stages of the
production process on several different projects that were in various stages of readiness. Reference:

GameZombie.tv, Bloomington, Indiana May 2008 August 2009
Senior Producer
GameZombie.tv is one of the internet s top sites for original video content about the world of video
and computer games. I was very involved with all aspects of production (development, casting,
writing, producing, editing) for a huge number of webisodes. Also initiated content-
sharing deals
with MySpaceTV and Spike TV s web division. Reference: Spencer Striker, Executive Producer @
