Professional Experience:
Working as district Federal and State Programs Director, RESA support person and as a
consultant with Title I since 1971.
Been actively involved with the state Title I group (MAS/FPS) for over 35 years.
Actively supported school buildings/districts in the implementation of Title I and other
grant programs since the early 1980s.
On original Bridges Project Team as a co-manager and co-writer of several of the Tool
Kits (AYP, Evaluation and Assessment, School Improvement and Needs Assessment)
developed to support schools after the ESEA reauthorization known as NCLB.
Active member of the MAS/FPS Boot Camp team for training Directors and Principals in
Federal Programs.
Presenter for MAS/FPS Finance and Program workshops.
Provide technical assistance support to a number of districts each year in the
implementation of Title I and other funded programs.
Certified as an National Network of Partnership Schools trainer by Johns Hopkins
University under Dr Joyce Epstein.
Presenter for MAS/FPS Project for Parent Engagement, Marie Miller and I have worked
with over 800 teams to incorporate Epstein Parent Partnership model into their Title I
(School Improvement) Plans.
Attend State (MAS/FPS, School Improvement, Advanc-Ed, MSIFN) and National
Conferences and Workshops (NAFEPA, Brustein and Manasevit Forums) to keep
updated on Title I and other Federal Programs.
