I am enclosing my resume for your review. You will be able to see from it that my credentials closely fit your requirements. For almost fifteen years, I have been an executive assistant for the Vice President and Director of the Central US Business Unit; also assisting project managers with construction projects relating to environmental cleanup. I accomplished this by composing correspondence, agreements, and generating reports and other documents. I scheduled conference calls and meetings (including all details from travel and hotel arrangements to meals). Using Microsoft Access, I’ve created complicated databases. The scope of this position included using Microsoft PowerPoint to create presentations for budget planning and client proposals; using the Internet and corporate archive files to conduct research for purchasing, technology, and historical information for the Lewisville, TX, office.
I have excellent familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel; intermediate knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Access, and Adobe Acrobat X Standard; and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Project.
I trained the receptionist in Lewisville and managed all staff for three motels in Montana for 8 years.

Administrative Associate
I was Executive Assistant to Vice President for six years. In this position, I made travel arrangements; arranged office luncheons; and organized conferences involving staff from all offices in the country (hotels, equipment, meals, catering, travel, car rental, etc.). The Vice President is no longer in this office, but I still performed these services for a professional staff of 20 persons.
I assisted the staff with software issues, large document compilation including proposals, reports, etc., using graphics, tab dividers, binding and other resources.
I began assisting with procurement needs of Lewisville, Albuquerque, Houston, and Lincoln NE offices. In addition to performing executive administrative duties, I became a Purchasing Agent, using a company purchasing card for minor purchases and issuing subcontracts. I solicited bids from contractors for lab analysis, drilling projects, set up of job site – job office, portable toilets, dumpsters, telephone service, and any other contracting/equipment required to complete projects for private sector and state and federal government clients. I have a working knowledge of FAR, SCA Wage Determinations and Davis Bacon Act.

Marketed the properties through group tour solicitations, working with the Chamber of Commerce, and with individual communications to businesses and others with travel needs.
For economy, I personally planted all landscaping, painted exteriors, ran the front desk, and at times, performed laundry and housekeeping duties.
While in Great Falls, my husband and I implemented new cleaning standards, re-staffed the housekeeping departments, decreased employee turnover, and applied procedures which reduced housekeeping costs approximately 50 percent.
While in Libby, we lived in the office, checked in customers, answered telephones 24 hours/day. Our customers became friends who sought us out wherever we were in the state.
