While at Wescom, I designed and construct manual consoles to test
circuit boards, and wrote the procedures to perform the tests. I also,
maintained existing systems. I automated an environmental test of 160
circuit boards, which included the hardware and software for
controlling temperature, switching, logging measurements, alarms and a
user interface. I upgraded a Computer Aided Test system from an S-100
CPU to an IBM-XT, rewriting the software to test the product lines for
that system. I worked with product design engineers when problems came
up with new and existing designs. Also, as a group leader, I trained
and supervised technicians and testers.

SKILLS: Component level troubleshooting of electronic circuits.
Programming on MS-DOS machines using C and QBasic. Drafting and

equipment such as; oscilloscopes, meters, synthesizers and specialized
test-sets. Repair and maintenance of electronic equipment. Soldering
surface-mount components, along with many other electronic
construction skills.
