LOCKHEED MARTIN COMMENDATIONS
"has the experience and expertise to rapidly synthesize complex data / issues and establish options and solutions that set immediately set the program back on solid footing."
"works well in a team environment, meeting commitments while working with little to no supervision"
"excellent multi-taskersupports multiple programs with very high quality products."
"wonderful teammate and true professional."
SELECTED PROJECTS
Spacecraft Architecture: Developed the spacecraft concept for proposal on a 2006 classified program resulting in program win for Lockheed Martin that was highly successful from launch to decommission.
Space Mechanisms: Developed proposal concepts, detail designs as Product Integrity Engineer for several space borne mechanisms in Military Support. These programs resulted in multiple successful hardware build, test and deliveries for a SC with numerous deployable structures and gimbals, providing accommodation within a highly constrained launch volume.
Space Structures: Created concept and detail developments for several mass constrained, large and small satellite structures utilizing aluminum and graphite-reinforced plastic composites. Successfully delivered within program cost and schedule constraints.
Propulsion design: Selected to lead propulsion layout and detail design for NASA's Cassini Propulsion Module by Lockheed Martin, a complex, fully redundant bi-propellant system. This system has been fully successful from initial launch in 1997 and is still in use today.
SELECTED PROJECTS
Thermal hardware: Developed a unique system of thermal blanket configuration digitization to CAD geometry, which resulted in approximately 50% schedule reduction in configuration control and drawing release over previous methods.
Electrical harness: Developed a harness configuration and detail drawings on a National Asset Program small mechanical subsystem, resulting in a highly installable, maintainable harness that met all performance specifications.
Mechanical Aerospace Ground Equipment: Developed a cost and schedule constrained, 7 foot vertical x 15 foot horizontal visible light scanner for a classified laboratory environment that met or exceeded all position resolution requirements.
Launch Integration: Provided LV compatibility analysis for Military Support Programs, for a severely space constrained SC-to-LV configuration driven by customer requirement, that resulted in several fully successful launches.
Composites Development: Developed in-house composite filament winding equipment in a laboratory R&D environment with available materials and equipment to meet cost and schedule constraints.
