Took over and hired experienced sales talent, creating team selling environment with defined territories. Doubled number of clients, closed firm`s largest contract and increased sales sharply first year.
Managed successful startup at Datamyne. Played key role in raising $11M private equity for startup. Acquired two South American companies in import/export trade data business. Hired 25-member sales & support team. Worked with data center in Uruguay and sold first 50 corporate clients to gain firm market foothold.
Partnered with Morgan Stanley on new product. Datamyne needed to expand product offering. Teamed-up with Morgan Stanley energy trading to develop new capabilities for crude oil traders. Created new products covering crude oil, gas and distillates. Sold 20+ banks, energy traders and hedge funds for $1M in new revenue.
Built $200M European operation for Bloomberg. Sent to London by Mike Bloomberg to build business in Europe. Over next nine years, hired 450 staff including 200 sales people, establishing technical centers in more than 100 cities in Europe the Middle East & Africa. Added nearly 2,000 accounts to generate $200M annual sales.
Reorganized and built global customer service team. Bloomberg customer support was struggling to keep pace. Member of five-person Management Committee running day-to-day operations .
