May-August 2009- Intern at Sports Talk 790 (KBME)

-Podcasted shows, screened callers, helped come up with topics for shows

August 2009-Present- Producer at Sports Talk 790 (KBME)

-Hired immediately out of internship, worked on weekends for three years while finishing college. Have worked there since. I am the producer for the Doug Pike Show on Saturday’s and Sundays. Have worked every shift at the station. Worked football games, basketball games, and soccer games. Helped book guests and come up with show topics. Screened callers and podcasted shows. I have my own segment on the Doug Pike show where I make football picks.

Education:

2008-2012: Sam Houston State University- Huntsville, TX

-Graduated with a broadcast journalism degree. Produced news packages for the school news and worked with the radio station sometimes during the school week. (Graduation date: August 4th, 2012)

-Experienced board operator/producer. Can basically do everything there is to do with the board. Am also good at helping carry conversations with hosts. I am a very hard worker and am extremely motivated. Air checks and references available immediately upon request.
