Regional General Manager: Direct all aspects of regional sales and operations, operating as an
independent business to establish strategy, develop internal processes and maximize business. Lead
regional finance, routing, customer service and new business development. Manage 3 facilities, the
largest of which is a 50,000 square-foot facility capable of processing 19 million pounds of laundry
yearly. Coordinate multiple external vendors and suppliers and supervise 11 direct reports with over
200 union and non-union employees.
Initiated programs and processes that increased operating profit by 754%, pre- tax profit by
2289% and revenue by 178%.

Director, Security & Brand Protection (2003-2005): Created new business unit charged with
expanding into new technologies and market segments. Developed a new, autonomous business
unit focused on security and banknote products, including creating a business plan and
execution strategies to quickly achieve profit and sustain growth. Led product development efforts,
identified M&A and joint venture opportunities, aligned manufacturing efforts and created key

Catapulted divisional sales from startup to $31 million within 2 years with full P&L responsibility
Penetrated the banknote industry (previously thought a closed market) by establishing strategic
relationships within the U.S. Bureau of Engraving and Printing, resulting in a projected $10 million
of annual revenue. Named Board Member of NASPO - North American Security Products Org.
Identified M&A opportunities for 2 product lines that were expected to generate $18 million by the
end of 2006 and a company targeted as the divisions new global headquarters.
Spearheaded the launch of all products currently in the Sun Chemical Security product portfolio.
Reduced costs during business startup and enabled more localized shipping by leveraging
excess manufacturing capabilities in the Americas to produce security and banknote products.
Branch / General Manager (1995-2003): Oversaw operations at multiple manufacturing and satellite
facilities, the largest of which was 52,000 square feet and produced more than 12 million pounds of
product annually. Charged with turning around a declining facility, overseeing branch consolidations
and developing strategies to maximize profitability. Led sales, product development, finance, inventory
control, Six Sigma, HR and ISO 9000 efforts. Supervised 70 personnel in a 3-shift operation.
Increased the Richmond plants pretax profit as a percentage of sales from -4.9% in 1999 to
11.9% in 2003 and operating profit as a percentage of sales from 0.2% in 1999 to 15.9% in 2003
in a declining corporate environment. Total Revenue in 2003 was in excess of $53 million dollars.
Improved all metrics at the Mansfield location, increasing sales from $13 to $17 million as
corporate sales contracted, raising pre-tax profit as a percentage of sales from -0.4% to 8.4% in 2
years and increasing operating profit as a percentage of sales from 2% to 10% in 2 years.
Initiated programs and processes in the Richmond plant that reduced operating expenses from
21.5% of sales in 1999 to 16.5% in 2003.
Reduced expenses by $500,000 at the Richmond facility in 2002 and $400,000 at the Mansfield facility
by implementing Six Sigma and TQM methodologies.
Personally negotiated significant long term contracts with Philip Morris, Alcan Packaging
Graphic Packaging and other printers that generated in excess of million in annual revenue.
Drove implementation of ISO9001:2000 and continuing improvement programs.
