* For the first time implemented an effective out licensing data exchange service for the sale of end of life GSK pharmaceutical assets and facilities to external partners. Recouped $60M of unplanned income to the bottom line and became a model across the corporation.

* Responsible for 31 permanent and consulting professionals in IT/Scientific research focused on large scale software development, support and computing operational activities for the Bioinformatics department. Held full transnational management responsibilities for staff/facilities at six sites in the USA, United Kingdom and Europe.

* Championed the implementation of a state-of-the art computing environment for divisional scientific operations, including planning and purchasing, systems administration, harmonization across all locations and coordination with R&D/Corporate IT departments.

* Deployed a standard departmental set of desktop tools throughout R&D utilizing processes centered on needs assessment, vendor negotiation and relations, planning, purchasing, installation, support, and training, all in close coordination with R&D IT departments.

* Introduced an R&D-wide operational data management process for sequence and other biological databases provided by the department or external to the corporation. This harmonized process included database administration, planning and resourcing, acquisition, downloading, processing, distribution across sites, data security dramatically reduced operational overhead and costs.

* Led the management of a $32.6M department capital and revenue budget through monitoring fiscal needs via appropriate interaction with R&D finance to ensure meeting budget mandates.
