Web Developer/Designer

As a web developer for Florida Virtual School I design and develop interactive content for student course work, originally deemed out of scope and intended for third-party vendors. Content was created using HTML5, CSS, Flash and Javascript (jQuery and jQueryUI).

I lead my team in the deployment of courses to our various LMS systems. This includes setup of lesson pages, assessments, voice boards, grading tools in a Master Shell/Template used for creating Teacher s Shells/Classrooms.

I also lead the team with fulfilling tasks in our Help Desk ticketing system. I assess problems as they come in, determine the quickest, most cost-effective solution and delegate the task to the team.

I added touch capabilities to our Javascript Course framework during our initiative to phase out Flash interactive content and move to a mobile/tablet friendly framework.

Lead Web Designer
