Serve as liaison between the Department of Multicultural Education and the Area Office. Collaborate with Department of Multicultural Education on ESOL issues. Meet on a monthly basis with Department of Multicultural Education Director or designee to exchange information to ensure the adequacy of services for students and program compliance with federal and state directives. Monitors ESOL compliance issues and assists administrators in correcting compliance concerns including ESOL certification and endorsement in schools and area offices.
