J.Dubb Systems, Inc.
Agency Services, Inc
.: Developed Lotus Notes database residing
outside the company's firewall, which receives daily feeds from an
AS400 inside the firewall. An average of 70,000 insurance policy
records are imported. An email is sent to the Insurance Agents every
day highlighting outstanding and near cancellation policies, with a
link to their entire policy analysis report online. Secure Access to
the data in administered in a stand alone Registration database by
designated Agency Services employees. Agents, Carriers, General
Agents, and Agents' Customers all access the same site, but are
limited to seeing only those policies which they own. Lotus Notes
enabled us to use the rich features of Javascript, Java, and email
notification with secure user controlled access. Development was
completed in 8 weeks. This system replaces a daily faxing routine and
will save the company an estimated $80k in overhead costs.

Best! Software Inc.
Maintained internal Lotus Notes applications encompassing Purchase
Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Time Sheets, Marketing Project
Planning, and a few discussion databases. During my time with Best I
developed and implemented an Executive Staff Meeting database and a
New Hire Requisition database. Both were web-enabled using Lotus
Notes R4.6 along with the rich capabilities of Lotusscript and
Javascript.

Mitretek Systems
Designed internal applications for tracking employee terminations.
This application has several databases coordinated to facilitate the
retrieval of company assets, network accounts, phone accounts,
departmental responsibilities, and outstanding credit card balances.
All of these databases were web enabled to allow access from non-Notes
clients via company intranet. Business areas were given edit access
to specific data based on access controlled sections. Notrix, a Notes
add-on product was used to retrieve information from a Human
Resources/PeopleSoft application. LotusScript was used to send
multiple email notifications, create doc links, and employee lookups
to other Notes databases. The Network Account Maintenance database
was created to track network accounts setup for each employee. The
application interacted with the company help desk, creating service
requests for account additions, modifications, and deletions. These
applications were a high priority for senior management within
Mitretek Systems, and required presentation preparation and formal
design reviews.

Coopers & Lybrand, LLP
Designed an International Service Allowance table generator for the
Expatriate Resource Information System. This database imports source
data from external text files and spreadsheets. Tables are created
using the imported data for more than 700 country to country
combinations. These tables allow the Human Resources personnel to
calculate necessary payments for Housing, Utilities, and Goods and
Services based on the employee's salary level and host country
assignment. All payments are converted to the host country's
currency. This project was customized for IBM's Human Resources
Expatriate division. This allows them to convert their current
mainframe application to a Lotus Notes application. This database
required extensive use of Lotus script.

INOVA Health System: Designed an intranet for use within the
Information Systems department. The application stored the
department's change management process for any system changes
requested for any of the various platforms deployed along with a
Standards Manual. This process was moved from a mainframe environment
into Lotus Notes. Workflow was involved to approve any change
requests for programs, run sheets, and procedures. An Administration
database was also set up so all documents which made up the content of
this site were editable by the database manager. This project was
completely designed in version 4.52 of Lotus Notes with Domino.
Completed this project unassisted from requirements collection to
implementation.
United Educators
: Designed an application to be used by a nationwide
group within United Educators named School, College and University
Underwriters LTD. Part of this was private access and part was public
access. The home page contained Java script which controlled
scrolling What's New documents across a blackboard. Java script was
also used to change the graphic used for buttons when rolled over with
the mouse pointer. The home page also listed overview documents and
links to a document library and a discussion database. An
Administration database was also set up so all documents which made up
the content of this site were editable by the database manager.
Completed this project unassisted from requirements collection to
implementation.
Computer Learning Center: Worked with one other developer to build a
web presence for this nationwide business school. This site's
homepage contains What's New and Overview information along with
information regarding each of the 16 locations along with links to a
CareerNet database used to store student's resumes. Prospective
employers could select resumes of interest and e-mail was sent to the
particular school with information to contact the employer. Workflow
was set up to track the status of such requests. There is also a
database to list job openings within CLC..
Williams Communications Group: Designed and implemented a group of
financial reports and status reporting databases used by the executive
management team to monitor trends within the 5 business units
comprising WCG. This site was originally designed for a Lotus Notes
client platform and was later enhanced to be used with a browser.
Three databases were used to gather the data and all were mailed into
a Final Reports database used by the CEO of the company to access all
current data.
