Maint. Planner/ Contract Administrator- South Area Water Services KUCC.

I manage the maintenance planning and contract administration for South Area Water Services.

This involves: forecasting and managing 5 maintenance budgets for SAWS and the

environmental group. Appling for funding, and managing Capitol projects for my plant. I

coordinate between plants and manage scheduled Shutdown/ Turnaround activities.

I am also a coach for KUCs Contractor Management System at Tailings and Water Service.

Estimated and managed industrial projects for C&M. I supervised complex, or technically

challenging projects including, electrical shutdown support, plant maintenance support, and

Foreman- Wasatch Electric at Kennecott site

I managed the electrical support team, during the 2008 Smelter shutdown. I managed crews

rebuilding rapper control panels and other electrical projects associated with the 2007/08 KUCC

power plant shutdown.

May 2005 - October 2007

Lead Electrician/ Instrument Tech- C&M Line Builders

I lead crews on numerous industrial maintenance support and improvement projects.

This included: demolition and relocation of existing equipment. Installation of new PLCs, DCS

cabinets and MCC gear.

We provided electrical support for two Kennecott power plant shutdowns;

installing oxygen analyzers on the boilers. Installed instrumentation

and motor controls on a new Reverse Osmosis water treatment system.

We rebuilt the Boiler chemical injection system.

We provided electrical support for two Kennecott smelter shutdowns providing electrical

support, and rebuilding, or repairing electrical equipment.

I also worked with Amec, and the project management team, researching cable trays, electrical

equipment, and instrumentation, in preparation for the Bulk Flotation

Upgrade project.
