Manage all aspects of Sales and Marketing for Sunwest Management, an established Assisted, Independent and Memory Care Company operating 150 plus communities with 13,000 units in 37 states.
Reorganized sales team from three individuals with limited focus to divisionally focused teams of two each comprised of four divisions. These teams not only focused on divisional sales goals but training and coaching of individual communities resulting in decreased Medicaid admissions from 18 5% high in April 2009 to 4.82% in March 2010 and improving private pay average rent 5.29% or $102 per unit.
Successfully led conversion of multiple sales tracking systems within Sunwest utilizing in house technology versus outside vendor technology to manage sales process system. Integrated four step connection process into in-house program and consolidated multi reports to one framework and source.
Initiated sales planning process and review to apply quarterly strategic assessment and planning to event and outreach process resulting in increased attendance at events and decreased costs for collateral and promotional materials.
Led Corporate Improvement team in Dining Service, Health Services, Life Engagement and sales. This was done in a collaborative team approach with Operations VP, Regional Directors and Community Teams and resulted in specific improvement areas for each of these departments.

Managed all aspects of Operations for an established Senior Living Company. Help grow SLC from 23 communities to 50 plus with over 8500 units in 13 states.
Led team through acquisition and new development that increased revenue from $94,000,000 to $235,000,000 over my employment. NOI increased from $23,265,000 to $38,128,586. Same store CCRC portfolio NOI increased from $13,228,000 to $21,048,000 during same period and managed Texas portfolio revenue grew from $10,745,464 to $14,607,133 with an increase in NOI from $1,950,000 to $3,241,248
Indentified and implemented innovative Assisted Living Software that resulted in an increase in level of care revenue from less than $1,000,000 to over $12,000,000 over a four year period.
Developed tracking methods for community related expenses and labor, resulting in a 4.32% decrease in labor and a same store decrease in controllable expense of 3%.
Developed new Vision statement Creating Extraordinary Customer Experience and participated in the writing of the new Senior Lifestyle Mission Statement to support that vision.
Developed a Customer Service training program, Creating Extraordinary Customer Experience, in partnership with Simple Team Solutions for 2006. This program resulted in an increase of resident and employee satisfaction by over 3% in 2006 and 5.4% in 2007. Presented this program in conjunction with Greg Wingard, CEO of STS at the Press Ganey Annual meeting in New York in November 2006.
Partnered with Director of Marketing to completely redesign the SLC website so that it clearly defines SLC and its mission statement. Implemented electronic lead management system resulting in improved tracking of leads, tours and conversion to move-ins.

Managed the Northwestern Division, comprising four states and 38 multi use residences with a total of 2800 units. Responsible for oversight of divisional team and direct supervision of 13 regional teams.
Obtained a savings of million dollars in G & A by consolidating regional teams from eight to six divisions.
Increased occupancy by 11.5% resulting in an improved EBITDAR of over $4.6 million annually.
Transitioned 7 additional states into my division with a total of 7400 units as a result of Chapter 11 re-alignment and decreasing divisions to three.

ARV Assisted Living
Responsible for an 18 Community region which included Independent, Assisted Living, Alzheimer Care and Skilled Nursing consisting of 2000 plus units in the San Francisco Bay area.
Created and implemented operational standards and systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and to meet budgetary criteria.
Implemented departmental labor tracking and created standardized PRD's for all communities.
Focused with Regional Marketing Team on community marketing plans that created continuous outreach and weekly review of hot and cold leads resulting in an increase of gross move-ins by 6.3%.
